Jonah / Yunus / Yonah
The prophet who fled from God's call, was swallowed by a great fish for three days, and was ultimately sent to call the great city of Nineveh to repentance — the only city in Scripture that fully heeded a prophet's warning. In Islam, Yunus is called Dhul-Nun (Man of the Whale) and his prayer from inside the fish is among the most recited supplications. Jesus referred to Jonah's three days as a sign of his own death and resurrection.
