Elijah / Ilyas / Eliyahu

The fiery prophet who challenged the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel and was taken to heaven in a whirlwind without experiencing death. In Judaism Elijah is expected to herald the coming Messiah, and a cup of wine is poured for him at every Passover Seder. In the New Testament, John the Baptist comes in the spirit of Elijah. Islam regards Ilyas as a prophet sent to the people of Baalbek.
